what are we doing
The Work is a comprehensive program designed to challenge traditional ideas of manhood and foster a new understanding of strength, vulnerability, and connection. We offer workshops, retreats, and an ongoing support network aimed at helping men build emotional resilience, foster deeper relationships, and break free from limiting beliefs. Our program combines breathwork, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength and conditioning, and psychotherapy to create a multifaceted approach to personal growth and healing.
This project isn’t just about a single event—it’s an ongoing journey. Through carefully crafted sessions, we guide men through physical and emotional practices that lead to self-discovery, trauma recovery, and a stronger sense of purpose. Our goal is to create a space where men can connect, heal, and find their true potential.
Why Are doing it
We’re doing this because we believe that men today face unique challenges. Society’s traditional definitions of masculinity often leave men feeling isolated, emotionally stifled, and disconnected. Men of colour, in particular, experience these pressures while grappling with systemic barriers that make it even harder to find support. Studies show that men, especially men of colour, are less likely to seek help for mental health issues and are at a higher risk of suicide and depression.
The Work exists to change that narrative. We believe that by creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for men to explore their emotions, challenge harmful norms, and build stronger, healthier connections, we can lead men to a deeper sense of fulfilment and well-being. Our mission is to ensure no man feels alone in his struggles and that he has the tools and support needed to heal, grow, and thrive.
Together, through The Work, we are redefining what it means to be a man in today’s world.
